Tom Spadea Presents at Rita’s Annual Business Meeting

Franchise attorney Tom Spadea was invited to present a breakout session for franchisees of Rita’s Italian Iceon franchisee succession planning in Atlantic City, NJ on Monday, January 22, 2018. The sessions were very well received, with one area developer commenting that all franchisees should be required to attend these in the future.

The topic was geared toward giving franchisees insight into how to maximize their enterprise value, prepare their business for sale and the process of transitioning the business to family, a key manager or through a third party arms-length transaction.

Tom co-presented the breakout session with business broker Joe Chiarello, from Murphy Business & Financial Corporation.
