This year’s recognition comes with an additional highlight. Tom Spadea has been inducted into the Legal Eagles Hall of Fame, a distinction reserved for attorneys who have appeared on the list for 10 years.
Two of our attorneys were also quoted throughout the issue. Jessica Dempsey contributed to the magazine’s coverage of AI in franchise systems, advising franchisors to lead with transparency when implementing new technology and adjusting fees. Avery Korman was featured in the investment and M&A section, guiding brands on what needs to be in order before bringing in an outside investor.
