We are pleased to announce that Elliot Boerman has joined Spadea Lignana as a franchise attorney. Elliot brings extensive experience in franchise law, having represented both franchisors and franchisees across diverse industries including retail, hospitality, home services, and business services.
Elliot graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Georgia in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before earning his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law in 2021. He was recently recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Corporate Law (2025), highlighting his emerging expertise in the field.
His practice focuses primarily on franchise and general corporate law. Elliot has extensive experience drafting franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements, navigating state and federal franchise regulations, and representing franchisors through various business transitions. His background spans franchise registration and compliance, inadvertent franchising issues, and mergers and acquisitions.
An Atlanta native, Elliot is admitted to practice in North Carolina and maintains active memberships in the American Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, and Wake County Bar Association. He has also contributed to his community through volunteer work with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Outside the office, Elliot enjoys running, discovering new coffee shops in the Raleigh area, and spending time with his wife, Reaghan.
