With a well-rounded education in business and law, associate attorney Angad Patheja offers franchisors a unique perspective on managing a business. Before joining Spadea Lignana, Angad earned his law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and his MBA from Rutgers Business School. He previously worked as a legal consultant for Temple University’s Small Business Center and as a legal intern for Drexel University College of Medicine.
Angad’s focus is in franchisor representation, which means he can assist with challenges that franchisors face on a daily basis, like educating his clients on employment issues, helping owners make positive business decisions, and drafting franchise disclosure documents.
Growing up, Angad’s family owned their own franchise, so he was immersed into the family business from a young age. His family’s experience in franchising led him on his path to becoming a franchise lawyer. He understands the challenges that business owners and their families face on a day-to-day basis, and he is passionate about helping his clients succeed.
Angad’s approach is best described as holistic—he considers more than just the legal side of owning and managing a business. He combines his personal experiences, business acumen, and legal expertise to help clients see the whole picture and prepare for the future.
Angad is happily married and enjoys staying fit. You may see him on a run or playing soccer on the weekends. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
