Without Bonnie's advice . . .we probably would have given up . . .
Bonnie did a great job explaining [our] Franchise Agreement and Franchise Agreements in general. The FAs can be somewhat intimidating as they are written by the Franchisor's for their benefit. Without Bonnie's advice and explanation of FAs as far as what is typical and standard, we probably would have given up on franchising. Bonnie definitely provided us with valuable insight on FAs.
Your firm and services are top notch and you are all very professional. Your firm had our best interest in mind and represented us very well. I just wanted to let you all know that I would highly recommend Nancy L. Lanard for any legal services regarding lease and letter of intent negotiations for a KnowledgePoint franchise. I would particularly recommend her to [those of] us new to the franchise world, yet [who] want to find retail space among the big franchises like Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Hollywood Video, UPS and Coldstone Cremery. Until she stepped in, I was depending on the direction from my real estate broker. If I had continued this route I am guessing I would still be in negotiations or I would have signed a lease that significantly favored the landlord.
